I used to think I wanted to be in front of the camera. Then I got pregnant. Being behind the camera is MUCH more rewarding and doesn't make me burst into tears nearly as much. No one ever sees how many chins the photographer has. (Bonus.) I gave birth to my beautiful son, Noah, in February and he has already shown me what a roller coaster motherhood is. I know that with the hectic life I currently lead (husband in the Army, living out in Colorado, & being someone's personal pacifier), this photography thing will take some time. Bear with me. :)

Rebekah + Jordan | 4.7.12

I met Beka six months ago when I wanted maternity pictures done. Yes, she's a photographer too! I like to call her my paparazzi because, ever since our very first shoot together, she always brought her camera to take photos of the events taking place in my life. Maternity, baby shower, my husband's homecoming, even labor! Oh, and don't let me forget that she takes pictures of my son, Noah, every time she sees him. No complaints here! I guess you could say that Beka was the one who inspired me to become a photographer.

I've been wanting to take pictures of Beka for awhile but we never got around to it. FINALLY I got her to set down her camera and let me pick up mine. I convinced her wonderful boyfriend, Jordan, to join us for some couple shots and then I got some of Beka on her own. I LOVE these photos. Beka is a knock-out, so you better love these photos too. :) You can check out all of their pictures on my facebook page: www.facebook.com/alynnephotography
